"Gold Glittered Hat -> Eternity was the 1st set highlight for me.  I’m a big GGH fan, anyways, but this version delivers the goods.  This show is all about the Memphis, IMO.  When I think about what makes Spafford such a improvisational powerhouse, it’s jams like this.  Another good recent example is the 12/8/23 Broken Wing.  Patience, communication, spacing – it’s all there – leave you with a funk-filled, airy jam that does eventually lead to a high-powered peak before dropping into Motel 6.  Each member shines in this at a different point, but to my ears, Cory and Nick are the catalyst for the evolutions within this jam.  "
